Lake Interlochen HOA Board Special Meeting

This special meeting was called for HOA members to vote (in person or via e-mail) on proposed amendments to the Covenants and By Laws.
Directors attending:Ralph Sobel, Ken Seipel, Brenda Cubbage,Bryon DeVries, Nancy Weaver. HOA members attending:Pat Jenkins, Janine Barber. Directors not inattendance:Tony Lester, Chris Slauter, Bruce Turner, Roger Pendleton, Bryan Keathley.
President Sobel called the meeting to order at 7:10.
The vote in favor of the amendments was unanimous. All ten directors and 30 HOA members cast votes.
These changes bring us into compliance with new Texas State HOA Laws on front yard fencing and Architectural Committees. Those laws take affect on September 1.
The new Architectural Committee will include Pat Jenkins, Kim Besly and Janine Barber. Current Architectural Committee members Brenda Cubbage and Chris Slauter volunteered to advise them as they transition into their new responsibilities.
The Board also agreed to keep open the gravity inflow from Rush Creek to Lake Interlochen to create maximum water movement and oxygenation.
